I.D on a possible CJ lead toy?

Post by litefire56 »

Hi All!

I found this today while metal detecting. Just wondering if anyone would be interested in it.
I have some others also including a Crackerjack lapel sheriffs badge.

Anyone know when this item dates too?

Thanks for looking!

Hello John,
The motorcyclist dates from about 1900 to 1930, most of them were japanned (inked or coated with a thin coat of colored varnish). In good condition they are worth about $10-25.
The other item looks like a faceplate, but I don't know for sure; maybe some other collector can shed some light on it.
Thanks for stopping by with your "finds".
