Is doll from Cracker Jack box?

Post by bruzekkp »

My grandmother always said she got this doll from a Cracker Jack box. It would have been from the early1900's. She was born in 1898. Her friend crocheted the clothes right on it. If anyone knows, I would appreciated a response.
Thanks,
Patty

Cracker Jack made lots of dolls in the early 1900's, but I know little about them. My collection only goes back to the 1930's. A couple of questions... Are the arms and legs moveable? What material is the doll made out of? From the photo it looks like plastic. Thanks for sharing the photo of your grandmothers doll.
