Here is an early 1900s real photo post card of an Iowa diner called Dunn's Railroad Eating House. This postcard has a nice looking photograph of an interior view. There is a lot of detail in the image, but of particular interest to us is the display of Reliable Confections on he left side (closer view provided). There are Cracker Jack boxes, Reliable Butter Scotch boxes, Reliable Lemon Drops boxes a well as Lowney's Candy boxes, Queen (candy?) boxes, and Quaker Puffed Rice Cereal boxes.

Some of the other details include the long wooden diner counter, row of diner stools, large coffee urns, glassware, pie cases, pitchers, cash register, display cases, post card display, lighting, tables, chairs, signs, back bar with mirrors, curtains, and more...

This nice looking post card has a green one cent George Washington postage stamp, an Iowa postmark and the front is marked as follows:

DUNN'S R.R. EATING HOUSE

That is a gorgeous diner picture. Look at the shine on that bar. Someone is sure taking good care of it. Thank you for another bit of nostalgia, Ron.
