In the December 2014 issue of The Prize Insider is an article about a large Cracker Jack advertising poster or sign. I am writing to show this particular Cracker Jack poster in use. This image is on a 1916 postmarked post card from a candy jobber warehouse. Obviously this place was a distributor for many brands. It is marked:

WHOLESALE CONFECTIONERY - SMITH BROS. - 305 BEDFORD ST., JOHNSTOWN, PA.

It will give you a sense of just how large this poster actually is.

enjoy!

Wow, that is a big poster! Are these Smith Brothers the same Smith Brothers who produced cough drops?

Diane,
It could be.
I don't know.
I do know that the Smith Brothers Cough Drops started in New Jersey.

Hi, Ron :hiya:

What a great photo find, Ron, I spent a few minutes with a magnifier looking for the Cracker Jack products! :headbang:
