Help identify early 1900's prize

Post by Hiluxyota »

I metal detect old swimming sites from the early 1900'sto the mid 1920's. Around Chicago. These sites had Cracker Jack stands and I find a lot of vintage lead or tin Cracker Jack toys. Not knowing much about them I had found a tin man riding a pig with a pointed hat. The ones in the book does not have this type of hat listed. Not sure how rare this is. I have found several of other toys as well as marbles. Any info will be appreciated. I am new to this site.

That is a neat find! Not quite as early as you are thinking, as the pot metal toys are from the 1920's and 30's. I have seen this figure before, but it does seem to be harder to find than the one you see in the book. Hope this helps
