Deep Drawn Polar Bears

This has become my favorite animal standup. They seem to be pretty common and come in almost every color. Marbleized colors are far more common than solid colors. The ones below that appear solid colored, are lightly marbleized.

They're listed as being from 1953 in the CJ book. Unlike many of the "deep drawn" animals, no unmarked pieces are listed in the CJ book. These are always found marked "Cracker Jack" to my knowledge.

Additionally, they always have a secondary marking, also unlike any other "deep drawn" animal to my knowledge. They have either "E1", "E2", "E3", or "E4". I'm not sure what the significance of that marking is, unless it's the mold position on the runner.

If you have any polar bears for sale or trade, let me know. :D

Here are the bears I have for trade, I scanned the others, just so the polar bears wouldn't be so lonely. The few I have are only marked E3 and E4, I don't know the significance it. I labeled them with the E#, in case you had a preference. I'll shot you an e-mail about a trade.

I have polar bears marked E1 and E3. I am not certain of it, but I think the E numbers denote which mold cavity the prize came out of.
