Need Help Identifying this Piece of a prize

Post by SUstudent23 »

Hello im currently a student undergoing an archaeology project through salisbury university in cambrige Maryland and while we were doing excavations we came across a cracker jack prize. Me and another fellow student spent some considerable time searching for information about this piece but both came up with nothing. I was wondering if anyone could give us any information about the piece ill attach a few photos. It seems to be plastic.

Hello!

Congrats on your find. It appears you have unearthed a pinwheel tilter, issued by Crackerjack in 1955 per Larry White's Book on CD. There are 19 of these in that particular series, each with a different "moving" picture. Maybe you'll get lucky and find more. Happy hunting.

What are the 19? I'm aware of only 18.

F-5860-8 Dog, Floppy Ears and Long Bushy Tail
F-5860-9 Elephant
F-5860-10 Four Leaf Clover
F-5860-11 ?"Good Luck"
* F-5860-12 Pinwheel

I believe there are only 18. The four leaf clover says, "Good Luck" in the middle. It looks like it is listed twice.

Hello, Everyone :hiya:

Looks like you found the duplicated C. J. Prize Cyndy. I agree with you that the set has only eighteen (18) prizes in it, great work! :)clap
