How did you get these pics, Luke? They are beautiful. Do you have any information on who or how the float was designed? Thank you for the super photos.

Diane, To answer your first question, Since my sources at Frito Lay have moved to other departments, I've had to scour the web looking for these pictures. As to the second question, I don't know much, but I believe all floats in the parade are made by the Macy's Parade Studio in Moonachie, New Jersey. Below is a photo of a model of the float with some sketches.

A short little video about the company that makes and designs the float, as well as a sneak peak at the Cracker Jack float.

Thanks, Luke. I just wondered if Frito Lay had any input in the design. You have done a great job of researching the whole project and keeping us on the forums informed.

Thanks and Happy Thanksgiving!

You're welcome Diane, and Happy Thanksgiving to you! I'm about to head out to enjoy a nice turkey dinner. I can't wait to eat!

I found this video of the "At the Ballgame" Cracker Jack float on YouTube. You will see the float pass by at 1:55 seconds into the video. When I find a better video, I'll post it.

Thanks, Luke. That was so great to watch and I appreciate you sending it.
Hope your turkey dinner was everything you wanted it to be.
