Cast Metal Prizes

Post by bsamu1 »

I collect mostly cast metal and tin prizes and I am looking for ways to identify them. Does anyone have any catalogs (can be reproduction or copies) with pictures of cast metal prizes by dowst and/or other manufactuers?

Thanks,
Bruce

Hi Bruce,
Hate to see a post unanswered. There is a reproduction catalog of Dowst metal that shows up fairly routinely on ebay. If you can't find it, let me know and I'll see if I kept the name of the seller.

There is a copy of the 1945 Dowst catalog that regularly shows up on ebay. There are also copies of the Dowst 1922-1923 "Cosmo Illustrated Catalog of White Metal Toys and Novelties" and some copies of the Cracker Jack Premium Catalog E which has some items in it.
