Back to School with Cracker Jack in September 1958

Post by CJAAAJ »

Hello, Everyone :hiya:

This photo was the cover of the scarce inhouse magazine from The Cracker Jack Company "Around The Cracker Jack Campfire", Autumn Issue, September 1958! I wonder what the children received in their boxes of Cracker Jack! :ugeek:

If I had a box of Cracker Jack to take to school, I would have devoured it long before getting there. :)-

Very cute picture, thanks Alex.

I love the innocent look of the children and the strap holding the little boy's books together. There were no backpacks in the 50's. Since it was the 50's, it may be a pretty good guess that the prize in their CJ box was a brightly colored plastic piece. Thanks for the great picture, Alex. :D

Greetings Alex! :hiya:

That picture is so sweet! :P What a great time period to be a kid.
Plus the prizes in the Cracker Jack boxes were awesome in the
50's!
