Cracker Jack Peanut Butter Jar
Hi folks!
I am Brand New to the Cracker Jack Collecting world. I found this place in a google search!
Recently I found a Cracker Jack item in a cupboard while going through my parent's home and was wondering if anyone could give me some info on it?
It is a Empty jar of CRACKER JACK PEANUT BUTTER made by Borden.
I can't seem to find any information about this product on the web and was hoping someone here might be able to help me.
Many Thanks!
=Frank=

Hi Frank,
Welcome to the site! Borden did market peanut butter while it had the Cracker Jack brand. Another collector who knows more about dates than I do will be able to give you a better idea on when it was marketed. My best guess is the 1970's. It was sold in both "Crunchy" and "Smooth" varieties. Borden also tried selling the just the Cracker Jack peanuts ( in canisters) and the unpopped popcorn in both jars and plastic bags. The neat thing about the peanut butter is that it had a Cracker Jack prize affixed to the lid! Does yours? Hope this helps.

Hi Cyndy!
Thanks for the reply!
This one that I have is the "CRUNCHY" one.
Sadly, the prize is no longer under the lid.

Try it again Frank, I've made adjustments to your account to allow it.magicmanfrank wrote:I have a photo of it, but I can't seem to post it here.
There are two different ways you can post images, here are tutorials if you need them...
