I've been metal detecting for a few years now. Today I found one of the CJ mystery club presidential coins.
I never knew they existed until the moment when I cleaned it up. It was in fairly good shape about 5 inches down in soft soil. I guessing it had been there a while...who knows??
I love finding older items that have some connection to our past, this coin is exactly why I continue to dig in the ground like a child. It was the highlight of my "hunt" today.
I curious, are they valuable ? Do they sell on ebay? I doubt if I would sell it, all my little treasures bring back a moment in time for me.

Re: Found Woodrow Wilson
These tokens are fairly plentiful because they are made of aluminum and so they didn't disintegrate. They do sell on ebay, but for only a few dollars. If the reverse says, "Save this Medal" instead of "Save this Coin", it is worth a little more. Enjoy your find!
