Cracker Jack Prize?

Post by asheinberg »

Anyone recognize this as a CJ prize? There is a cardboard insert that pulls out. No metal or tin litho. Thanks, in advance, for any guidance. Amy

This is a very cute item, but it doesn't look like Cracker Jack. It would have to have fit inside a box and would have taken up too much room, unless it came flat and had to be folded together. Are there any marks that say, "fold here"? My guess is that it was a candy container.

I can't quite tell the exact size but it looks similar to the matchbox series that CJCA recently did as a study group - see Study Group forum. Obviously a different theme -

This piece is all paper, not the two piece match boxes made of balsa-type wood.
