Re: Presidential Mystery Club coins
Were the president tokens reissued in the 50S? I have an Abe Lincoln token that is the same as the CJ token shown here on the front and partly the same on the back. The difference is where the Mystery club info is mine has some lines of text from Lincolns history. "The most revered american" "Served as president throughout the great civil war" "Noted for hisimmortal getteysburg address" I have seen other president tokens that have the same design. Any help?

Hi, Dockwalliper
These Cracker Jack Mystery Club Coins and Medals were only issued in Cracker Jack as prizes in the 1933-1936 era. Many other manufacturers used Presidential coins and tokens throughout the years.
It would be interesting to see a picture of your item if you can post it on the forum.

I have a set of those coins. They were given out by Shell gas stations in the 1950's. You got a different coin each time you filled up. They aren't CJ.

Re: Presidential Mystery Club coins
I don't know of any Cracker Jack collector that has found all 31 coins with "Save this Medal" on the back. I think the 3 coins no one has found are: Andrew Jackson, Martin Van Buren and Warren Harding. I can check with some other collectors and get back to you on this forum.

Re: Presidential Mystery Club coins
I have checked and as far as I can tell, no collector has found the above 3 "Save this Medal" tokens. I will post here if someone lets me know they have them.
