Here is Story Book "Our Flag Old Glory" in two different versions almost 30 years apart in distribution. The book on the left is the original Copyright 1966 book. It is glued on the side and has 32 pages. The reproduction book on the right was one of a series of 10 story books reissued to celebrate the 100th anniversary in 1993. It is glued at the top and has 16 pages. Both books are marked Vol. 2, Book 12 on the back. The reproduction book also carries the series No. CJR4-2. Many of the repro books are lighter in coloring on the front than the originals. This is a CJ Redux as well as Fourth of July prize.

If you look closely you can read the following notation:

This copy of a famous Revolutionary War painting featuring fife and drums was borrowed by The Cracker Jack Co. These large paper posters had instructions along the top saying that they could be folded over the edge and used to decorate a container such as a trash can or box! This is one of the first pieces I had framed to decorate my wall.
Happy 4th of July to all

Wow! That's great, Harriet. What are the dimensions of your poster and about what year did Cracker Jack "borrow" those prints?

I hope everyone is having a fantastic 4th of July. How appropriate, that this is the 1776th post on our forums, and it was made on Independence Day.
