Happy Thanksgiving Everyone!
This year I'm very thankful for my new CJCA friends. I'm very happy that I was able to attend this years convention, to meet y'all. I will be thinking about each and everyone of you, while I'm stuffing my face with turkey and gravy. Have a Fantastic Thanksgiving!

Did I hear a "Gobble, gobble?"

I have way too much time on my hands, time to go eat some pumpkin pie.

Happy Thanksgiving To ALL!!

WOW...it's hard to find prizes with a Thanksgiving theme! But, I managed to find two. The "Days We Celebrate" has a small page with a turkey.

Here are both sides of an unopened Nodding Head Turkey Prize. I would open the prize, but it is glued shut with industrial-strength glue that was used on some prizes!

Happy Thanksgiving everyone. Cracker Jack Thanksgiving stuff IS hard to find. But I do have the opened Nodding Head turkey you show, Gail.

Here's a tip for anyone who just HAS to open those pesky-glued prizes. There's a product called "un-du" that works pretty well to unstick the old glue, remove labels, etc. I bought it online awhile back. Can't remember where. Only caveat is that one has to proceed slowly because it does remove color from some items.

Gobble, gobble.

These Bonny Birds are featured on a very early book illustrated by Palmer Cox with Cracker Jack advertising on the back! Enjoy!
