OKLAHOMA -- "OHC's History Alive! program completed its first full
school year in May. Fifty-nine bookings brought figures from history to life
in classrooms in twenty-seven different Oklahoma communities. The program
sends scholars who portray characters from history into the schools to interact

Holt, a historian and senior Research Associate at the Balch Institute for
