The Alphabet26 Museum - Section B

Miscellaneous Charms
Plastic Prizes from Gum and Vending Machines

Index (Alphabet26)
This is one of my favorite groups of charms, probably because they remind me of Aphabet Dangles from Cracker Jack.  These mini charms (3/4" wide x 15/16" tall) have been difficult for me to find.  The colors I have in these are clear, pink, red, green, and yellow.

Here are some interesting items I would call "dangles."  I don't know the origin of these.  They have clear fronts and all of the color is painted on the backs.

Here are some interesting numbers and symbols.  There are also numerous words and phrases in gum machine charms that are quite interesting.

And here are some gum machine charms that I am particularly fascinated with, although I have only a couple examples in my collection so far.  On one side of the 9/16" ball, there is a letter of the alphabet.  On the other side, as pictured at right, there is an "E" inside a star.  I think this is the mark of Eppy Charms, Inc from New York, at one time one of the biggest bulk vending toy makers in the United States.
