OK, I have a question for you Cracker Jack wizards. There are a few interesting prizes from that picture, but one I've not seen before. What is this??? It looks like a dog. Anyone know more about it, such as the decade and/or series it's from?

Alex, is this the case of prizes you hauled around when you were the Cracker Jack spokesman? If so, I'm sure you know what that is. Thanks!

Hi, Cyndy and all :hiya:

Yes, the case in the picture with Susan is the same one I used the following year for the national Cracker Jack tour. It is a horse metal pin. I know that horse looks like it is ready for the glue factory but it is still a horse. I obtained one, many years later from Harriet. :D I'll post a better picture later.

Hi Alex--Great to have your expertise on this! In addition to a picture of that old nag, do you have any clear pictures of the whole case with its prizes? Did John Craig put that case together? Thanks!

I just found this picture of Cyndy and Diane sailing on Lake Michigan. They look so carefree and happy.

:takeit: Oh yeah, that's us, Luke. We look pretty good, don't we? Cyndy, we really must get together on our sailboat again before cold weather sets in for the winter. The boat is docked across the street from my new apartment on Lake Michigan. (There really is a marina across the street from my garage apartment. Unfortunately, the rest of Luke's scenario is totally fictional)

Luke, you are hilarious!!!!! :funny:

Oh, I am definitely the bleached blonde. You are the more sophisticated brunette.
