Does anyone know why there are different backgrounds for the President button? I have see white, yellow and blue.

Hi Shirley,

That is a great question and I do not have an answer. I assume you are referring to the little metal buttons. I have a bunch of those. In addition to the presidents, I also have movie stars, baseball players, and western themed characters. However, all of mine have white or yellow backgrounds. I have never seen one with a blue background. I guess the manufacturer just wanted a variety of colors and those were the three chosen. That is my best answer.

Thank you, Shirley. I also have an Andrew Johnson button but mine is a white background. I do see the blue pigment in the background of your Andrew Johnson. Very interesting.
